Introducing Ask Dr Boz: A Searchable Database of 1,149 Videos

One reason I started this blog was to create a place to document what I was learning—a personal index I could return to while watching Dr Boz’s YouTube channel and reading her two books, Any Way You Can and KetoCONTINUUM.

After six months of daily lectures, I often found myself trying to remember exactly where I had heard Dr Boz discuss a particular topic.

A few weeks ago, Dr Boz announced the launch of a new website, Ask Dr Boz. It contains transcripts from 1,149 videos—more than five million words—in a searchable database designed to help users quickly find answers to their questions.

The home page contains topic clusters and recurring concepts for example Ketogenic Diet which currently contains ten videos.

How do the answers stay grounded

  1. Search scans every transcript in the archive.
  2. The answer is written only from the retrieved passages.
  3. Citations link each claim to the video and timestamp, so you can watch her say it.

Dr Boz Video Library

This library contains every single video that Dr Boz has published in one single searchable database.  The comprehensive video library currently contains 1,149 videos that is searchable.  You can sort the library by year starting in 2011 when she launched her channel, or you can sort by newest, oldest or longest.

The information on the site is for educational purposes and reflects Dr Boz’s published content; it is not medical advice.

I’m really looking forward to exploring this database. Have you used it yet?
